I'm a newbie detailer and was wondering if I use a Swirl Remover on my car if it will take the wax off as well? I should have used it before I Klassed and waxed the car but that's a newbie mistake for you. I assume it will but want to know for sure. If it does do they make a product that you can use without it taking the wax off? I want to avoid having to redo the car if possible. At least the Klasse part of it. I don't mind doing the waxing. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

The swirl remover will remove wax and sealants for sure. Anything that removes scratches is going to remove wax and sealants. That is why they call wax and sealants a last step product. You want your paint corrected before you seal it
with wax or sealant.

Exactly what belcherm said...

The swirls are in the clearcoat, which is below anything that you would have applied to the surface. It is a drag, but to get rid of the swirls you will need to get through the wax/sealant that was applied to correct them.

Live and learn. Good luck! :xyxthumbs:
