Okay everyone, I'm detailing a 2000 white mustang. I've done the PC bit and now I'm ready to move on.

In my last Ag order I got a bottle of Wolfgang Pre Wax Polish Enhancer (http://www.autogeek.net/wg2000.html). I also bought a bottle of the DP Surface Shield Paint Sealant (http://www.autogeek.net/dp526.html).

After using the Wolfgang Pre Wax Polish Enhancment should I go with the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant or the DP Sealant?

I thought I'd apply one coat sealant followed by DP Max Wax.

I've only used the DP and its very good... but most people really like the Wolfgang DGS.

I dont think you can go wrong either way.. especially if you are going to top.

Thanks Aceshigh, that's what I was thinking too. So I opted to try the DP Sealant. I'll post pictures and details after it cures and I top with wax.

I use Klasse AIO and then use the DP Premium Surface Shield Paint Sealant and am very happy with it.

My car color is called "pepper white" so maybe your results will be similar.

Good luck and I'm looking forward to your pictures.

They will work fine together. Wolfgang is sealant designed just like the DP. Cleaning then sealing, cannot wait for pics.

Be sure you let sealant cure for 12 hours before applying wax.

Yeah, I hate that part! I have it in the garage now. I'd like to put 2 coats of DP Sealant but I don't want to wait that long.

What will happen if you do not wait 12 hours and apply it after a fresh polish job?

I hate that part myself too. But that is for durability purposes. 2 coats of sealant, then a couple coats of wax. Then I usually just add a coat of carnauba every month. It keeps it in showroom condition. Just my $0.02

I think the weather condition plays a big part in how fast your sealant cures if the temps are are in the high 80's and above with no humidity it will cure long before 12 hrs more like 6-8 possibly even faster in direct sun light..02

Do you need to let the sealant cure for 12 hours before adding a 2nd layer of sealant?

Is this 12 hours wait like the 30 days wait on a new paint job?

I just did a WG polish, glaze and wax topper three days ago,so for I do not see no differents if I waited.I also seal and wax new paint jobs the next day after painting,so for no problems.

3 layers of WGDS topped with Souv or NB would look extremely yummy, especially since WG has a sorta nuba tone to it.
