I peeled off a "Dealership Sticker" that has been on my car the first day i got it and it left a sticky residue. How do I remove this mess without damaging the paint? Thought about goo gone but that seems a little too strong?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!!

Claybar it off or you can use Goo-gone or if that doesn't work, you could probably buff it off. A hair-dryer on the high heat setting should soften it up if you just want to use your fingers as well.

wd 40 or Stoner tarminator should do the trick

Sometimes using more tape to lift the goo off works wonderfully. Just tap the surface where the gummy residue is with the tape. Otherwise you can try 3M's adhesive cleaner.

hopefully i dont get yeld at, but you could always put some gasoline on it, after you take off the sticker itself using the hairdryer method. Let the surface cool and put a little bit of gas on a micro-fiber towel and gently wipe off. Should come off pretty easy. Takes gum off great too, FYI.

just make sure you aren't smoking at the time.
