Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum and have spent the last week reading intensively on this forum. I have an 04 Acura RSX-s in Milano Red. The Red is a solid color as it has no metallic. Just kinda curious as to which wax to get to get the best depth/darkness out of it. I would choose depth/darkness over reflection.

I know alot of people like the Pinnacle Souveran paste wax on here, but I was wondering how easy it is to use? Does it stain plastic and trim pieces? I'm kinda torn between the Souveran and Fuzion (VIP).

I'm planning on making my purchase tonight and here is what I'm getting:

Porter Cable 7424XP with Pads ($199)
Pinnacle Intermediate Swirl Remover Package
Which wax?????

Suggestions are appreciated! Pictures help too!!!

I use PB Natty's Red, looks amazing on a red car....gives you that depth and wet look while also having a beautiful clear reflection. Very easy to get off of the paint and can be applied in the sun or shade. Also does not stain trim.

What pads are you going with??

For the money, I think Natty's Red is the best there is. It IS very easy to use, has a wonderful wild strawberry scent, and does give a very wet, deep, clear look, and it lasts longer than Souveran, not to mention the fact that it doesn't attract anywhere near the dust that Souveran does. Souveran is extremely easy to use, and gives a very rich, deep look, but doesn't have as much wetness or shine as the Natty's Red.

I should also mention that I also have a gold and a black vehicle. How well will Natty's work on those?

Also, what are you referring to when you say "wetness"? I am new to the detailling thing!

Also, the pads with the kit are Lake pads. 6.5"

Any opinions on the Fuzion? How many applications can I get from the 3 oz container?

The VIP special is hard to resist, so grab it before its gone. (DONT VIP specials end Monday ??) .... anyhoo Souveran is a very, very close second. Neither is a wrong choice and both wont stain trim and super easy to use too.

Putting in my order for the VIP special now. Gonna get the Fuzion kit and a spare thing of Fuzion wax. Considering 8oz is $175, getting everything in the kit and 6oz of wax is an awesome deal.

Thanks killrwheels. By the way, your car looks awesome!

I mean it looks like the paint is so shiny slick that it looks like it is wet. The Fuzion is a great wax. The 3 ounce sampler for $29.99 is a great deal. I'd buy one if I were you. Always apply wax as thin as possible. Just enough to see that you have complete coverage.

If 8 oz is $175, and a 3 oz sampler is $30, couldn't you get more wax for have the price if you bought three samplers? Do you get other stuff thats worth $100 if you buy the $175 kit or something?

The 8 ounce $175 comes with a free refill, so it's 16 ounces for $175. Just under $11 an ounce. The special is $10 an ounce for the wax.

Thank you for clarifying that Blackthornone. I was very confused for a second.

Either way the special is cheaper!

I am just really glad they had this special at the time I was ready to purchase. Still not nearly as good as the sub zero sale I came across that was offered in jan, but a good deal none the less. I got the kit and a single wax just because I didn't have any of the other stuff to go with it anyways. I'm just starting out so I spent alot of hours on here recently and did my homework. Souveran and Fuzion seem to get awesome reviews for red cars so when I got that sale, it was a no brainer. Just wanted extra input. When killrwheels recommended it, I figured I was almost guaranteed to get a good product as I have read many posts of his and he seems very experienced.

I will make sure to take before and after pics and post them up for everyone.
