XMT Ultra fine on glass

Has anyone ever used XMT on glass to remove water spots and stains with a orange buffer pad?

Or do I need to buy an actual glass polish and buffer pad?

Glass is pretty hard so I guess no harm in trying. If the water spots are just minerals sitting on the top then you might find the polish removes it quite easily, if they're etched in, I'm not so sure, but glass is pretty hard to screw up so no harm in trying (I hope!- I claim no responsiblity :D)
