I'm a rank amateur at this car detailing stuff, but I ordered the AG Flex 3401 + menzerna ceramic show kit (http://www.autogeek.net/menzerna-flex-xc3401-ceramic-show-car-kit.html) about 2 weeks ago. I've been watching the UPS tracking site every day, anxiously awaiting the new arrival. I've been keeping my car super clean to minimize the prep work I'd need to do before applying polisher to Toyota Camry. I should have know Murphy would be at work.

On Thursday I was driving my car to work and the check engine light came on and the engine stopped a couple of seconds later. An orange-ish/brownish liquid is pouring from the passenger side engine compartment. I had the car towed to an auto repair facility. The next morning, of Friday, the auto repair shop calls me and tells me one of the customers hit my car. I go over there to take a look and the front driver side is smashed in. Frickkk!!!!

I get back home from the auto repair shop and just then the UPS man pulls up with my Flex package. Argh!!

Well, my wife's car is in desperate need of polishing, but that is going to take a lot of prep work. Won't be able to get to that for a week or two.

Man sorry to hear about your mis fortune. I hope you have better luck . Enjoy your Flex once you get to use as it is a great machine and polish combo that you purchased .

I hope the repair shop is going to cover the damages that happened on their lot, or the idiot customer that ran into your ride is going to take care of it. Otherwise let your insurance fight the fight for you, pay your deductible, get it repaired, and you'll get your deductible back once insurance finishes fighting for you.

When was the last time you flushed the cars radiator and cooling system ?? Hope its simple like that and not a blown head gasket where oil could mix with coolant.

As for the accident, better now than after you detailed it. Think of how you would have felt then.

Quick repairs are in your future !

Wow! Your Camry looks great! If my paint comes out that good, I'll be very happy. Mines a '98. I'll have to be sure to get some before and after pics.

Don't know what's wrong with the engine yet. Probably find out Mon or Tues. The lady that hit the car gave her insurance info to the shop and they passed it on to me. Her insurance told me to call them once it gets out of the shop and they'll cover the body damage.

I am sorry to here about your troubles, your engine sounds like some kind of a coolant/head gasket problem, but I am not expert with Toyotas. I hope it all works out for ya, they should fix the damage free of charge since it happened in their possession.

None the less when you get it back you well be able to unlease the awesome powers of the Flex 3401!!

I would not have the work done and then expect their insurance to pay up. Get a check from them up front. It sounds shady as hell to me.

You can use your flex to polish the toilet or granite counter tops :)
