I received some SSR1 @ SSR2 on my last order and my darling wife prompted me to try it on the ugly scuff mark that I created on the Mazda. Yes, she was sure to point out that I did it. :D

I got up the courage after reading and watching the video and took the challenge. After all, I'm a pro painter so I told myself the worst that can happen is a repaint of the door.

This scuff was a result of a backer board(ceramic tile board) that was leaning against my Mazda without my knowledge. Really, it was. I backed out of garage and...oops

Considering the scuff, I started with the SSR2. Light pressure.

First Try consisted of about 8 very slow horizontal and short vertical passes. SSR2
Scuff is barely visible now.

Second pass same as the first.

Third step. Polished with 3M Pro Finish and topped with MaxWax.

I did it! I'll be showing that off tonight! Or maybe she'll notice when she walks by. :D

Thanks to all for the past conversations on corrections and to Meghan for her ESP.

Isn't that one of the most satisfying feelings you've ever had? When it works and the results are so good...just makes you come back for more...I seriously look at every car on the freeway fantasizing about correcting the worst paint I see...

Sick...it's sick, really. We need help.

Yes it is! Now when I go to the Mazda, I walk on that side first just to make sure it didn't go away..LOL

And when we go shopping, I park far from the store so I can survey what's to be done on the parking lot cars.:buffing:

You're right. We're sick. And our physician is Meghan. :D

It's in good shape for the summer. In October it will get the WG Polish Enhancer, WG 3.0 and two layers of Fuzion. That will get me through the winter.

Very nice work on YOUR Mazda. If someone were to do that to MY Mazda, I would have to go and kick a lil behind. LOL

Again, nice work!!
