Greetings All. I just wanted to chat a little about some of the available products that over the years i have tried and wanted to share some of the results that i achieved.

1. NuFinish Polish: Used this as my primary polish and it worked pretty good. I applied it by hand because back then buffers were like exotic equipment. However recently, i bought a fresh bottle of the polish and used my PC 7336 with a yellow pad and let me tell you (OMG), it turned out fabulous and have used it on several customer cars and they all have love it.

2. Shamwow: Well the verdict is still out on this one. When i purchased it, the claim was that it could be used straight out of the box. However, that was not the case. It only moved the water around, not absorb it. The finish was streaky and did very little to remove spots. So after reading on another forum about how to use them, they all said that for best results, they needed to be machine washed first to remove storage chemicals before using. So i decided to follow their advice and it was like nite and day. They finally dried a lot better.

So if any of you have used either products, drop me a line and let me know how your jobs or vehicles turned out and what was your experience using either of them. GOD BLESS!

I just hate that shamwow #######. lol.. I dont know, I just innately do not like him.

Careful there with the PC... Nu finish isnt really something I would be rubbing with a yellow pad onto a car.

I used the yellow foam buffing pad with my 7336. And the shamwow cloth is cheap. doesnt work like on infomercial!

I know. Nu finish is really a kind of a wax/sealant with alot of fillers. If you did apply it with a yellow pad on a pc, when it wears off, you are going to see marring.

sorry, but neither are quality products I would use. From OTC I might visit Megs Professional Line and Mothers Reflections. As for MF towels I would consider Viking (Kmart) or Vrooom (Target) for OTC.

With 5 posts he's promoting Nu Finish and Sham wow. Two products that should not even be mentioned on AG.

True, but if Sham Wow or Nu Finish touches my paint, it would be.

Im watching, but suspect this user needs to be introduced to the finer products in car care.
