The wife and I just purchased a 2004 travel trailer to do some camping this summer with the family. Of course it needs detailing! It has the smooth fiberglass FRP sides. I need to know from experienced professionals the best products for this job.

I have on hand the Menzerna stuff and also XMT products. I thought about giving XMT 360 a shot. Maybe purchasing some DG 501. Thoughts?

DG 501 is great cleaner and protectant. If you need something to remove swirls look into Meg marine polish

Does the RV need polishing or just some cleaning and protection?

I think a good cleaning and protection but it is sort of dull, so maybe polish too. It is big (31') and I have a PC. I may give the XMT360 a shot. Right now it has been too hot and we are going camping this weekend, so it will have to wait.

I have used Meguiars d151 on light oxidation with a G110 on RV's with very good results.

XMT360 is a similar product, but I have never used it.

On RV's I generally use Optimum Opti-Seal as my sealant because it is extremely easy to use.

I bought my Dad some Ultima Paint Guard Plus for use on his RV for "Protection" and he absolutely LOVES IT. I like it as well but for such a big rig the wipe on and walk away nature of this product can save you a bundle of time and work and the results are very nice. No buffing off of the product is necessary.

I'll ty what I have on hand and it sounds like I may need to put in a new AG order.:D

It's too hot to detail this big sucker right now and we have plans for the next two or three weekends. Hope the AC holds up!

It should need a good washing after the three trips.
