Over on the Corvetteforum I get PM'd at least once a week asking what towels I use for what, and my fav's for each step of detailing. I was also asked by a member here so I thought a post was in order with specific links.
Washing : Sheepskin Mitt (http://www.autogeek.net/sheepwas.html)or Cobra Miracle Towel (http://www.autogeek.net/miracletowel.html)(yes thats right, try it)
Drying: The Guzzler (http://www.autogeek.net/waffle-weave-drying-towel.html)
Polish Removal : Cobra Ultra Plush Towels (http://www.autogeek.net/cobra-microfiber-towel.html)
Wax Removal : Cobra Indigo's (http://www.autogeek.net/microfiber-polisning-cloth.html)
Quik Detailing : Cobra Ultra-Plush or Miracle Towel (see both links above)
and believe it or not, still not a big fan of microfiber wax applicators. Still like foam better. Less product used, smaller and easier to use, and cheap for replacement after each use. http://www.autogeek.net/pinfoamwaxap.html
