And I need some advise. I have some pics to hopyfully help you decide but my digi cam sucks. What do you recommend on this...2005 Mercedes Benz.

And what else should I get for a black car? I also have the foam gun.
What can I use to CLEAN the interior?
And is the SSRs compound or polish? Thanks guys!

First I would highly recommend that you go to the Autogeek store and look
on the left hand side of the menu bar and you will see a list and you will notice a tab that says " Detailing Facts and Tips. Click that tab and all aspects are througly explained from A to Z. They will mention particular products thatyou can pick the product of your choice. Autogeek offers a lot of products and after a little experimenting you will decide what products perform to your expectations and preferences. Autogeek carries a lot of great products. The basic infomation about procedures is what you will want to pay attention to.
Black is a hard color to take care of and shows a lot of imperfections. So
read up and you will find the answers to about all questions that you have.
Once you get the basics down and then come back and ask the forum for
clarifications on things you don't quite understand.

The SSR 3.0 closely resembles a compound, but the kit only comes with 2.5 and 1.0 SSR. They work great in conjunction together. Black looks best when jeweled so consider polishing and final polishing with a finishing pad.

As for the interior, I would use a couple items. MB leather is typically unsealed and thus Leatherique (for bad leather) or Connolly to keep leather up. You can use 303 Protectant on doors and other plastics for UV protection and matte finish. If you prefer no finish, then look to Megs Quik Interior Detailer. If you have scuff marks in the doorways, consider some Mr.Clean Majic Erasers. And finally some DP Glass Cleaner and a good Cobra WW Glass towel. WOW !!

Any advise on what to use on my car?

Wash ----- Poorboys Suds
Clay ---- Any product, Mothers, Pinnacle, WG
Polish --- Poorboys SSR 2.5 and 1.0 (two steps)
Protect ---- Pinnacle (wax) Poorboys, DP, Wolfgang (sealant)

dont rush the polishing step. Slow, steady, continue to work one panel until done as wanted. Then move to next. Once car is pristine, go back with 1.0 and finishing pad and really amp up the surface.
