I wanted to show possibly some new guys a little bit about how I clean a car, but really didn't achieve it after looking through all the pics. I have some decent wash pics, but nothing inbetween for interior, jambs, seals, tires..those process magically just happend..LOL.
Started off this morning with a good wash, and then on to the cleaning part.

Wash:
DG901
Proline Grout sponge
misc sponge to scrub windshield and headlights
Two buckets, one grit guard

Wheels:
Megs NXT wash
Megs Apc 4:1 wells and tires
EZ brush
various brushes

Jambs:
Demoted MF
Optimum Instant Detailer and Gloss Enhancer
Megs #40 on seals

Glass:
Excel WW
Meguiars detailers line glass cleaner

LSP:
RBOE
Wiped off with Megs Ultimate Wipe, and buffed with "no name" from DD
Ok, so now for my wacked out pics..I'm sure you can make out the process

Amazing! I appreciate the way you showed the products in the pictures. I like the way the Meg's APC just flat out transformed the wheel and wells.

Amazing! I appreciate the way you showed the products in the pictures. I like the way the Meg's APC just flat out transformed the wheel and wells.

I don't want to mislead anyone, the APC was only used on the tires and wells. The wheels have two coats of DG105 on them, so they were simply just cleaned the the NXT soap. I figured the newer people if reading this would appreciate what it might take to wash a car in a some what professional manner.

APC on tires and wheel wells. Thank you for that advice. I don't like using those tire and wheel cleaners that contain 10 warnings of where not to use it, especially when it says, "do not get on paint or glass", or the tire cleaners that say, "keep off wheels and paint".

Nice shine too! You make a Ford look good. :)

Thanks for caring enough to share with us who are hobbyists or beginners. I certainly appreciate it.

Go Buckeyes!
