yo,

So as the title says, what's going on here? I thought that Meg's APC+ works on more surfaces than Meg's APC, which includes clear plastic and vinyl and such. Why would they discontinue it? Is the regular Meg's APC also safe for more sensitive surfaces such as clear plastic and carpet and stuff?

the APC+ was one product out of three or four in the detailer line, that were sold at a few select megs distributors and was never offered through megs direct...

It is not discontinued. APC+ is a low foam cleaner and can be used in carpet machines. It also has more grease cutting power.

Perhaps I just have my information wrong. But the All Purpose Cleaner and All Purpose Cleaner Plus both used to be listed on the Meguiar's website. Now, only the All Purpose Cleaner is listed. I just thought that meant that the APC+ was discontinued.

It's not discontinued, they just introduced it this year. Meguiar's doesn't even sell it direct like other products. For some reason it's not even in their 2009 catalog either.
