This is my first use of a professional product. Since detailing is just a hobby, I've always found suitable product OTC. Much to my surprise, most of those products are inferior and cause more work and after-care than professional products. Not a surprise to you pros, I know.
I'm applying the DP Interior Protectant to a 2009 Sonata. The interior had one coat of Armor All that I applied 3 months ago.
Process.
I washed the vinyl and leather thoroughly with a vinyl/leather cleaner and buffed dry.
After drying, the DP was applied with a microfiber towel by spraying the solution on to the towel, then rubbing the product in a circular motion to ensure it coats the wood-grained/stipple effect of the vinyl trim. I did not buff the DP after application.
Dashboard One Coat.

Hard plastic trim. I noticed one measurable difference in the DP product when applied to hard plastic and wiped dry per instructions. It leaves no streaks like other lines that required a buffing to ensure a streak free finish.

Another great benefit that I discovered by accident. DP eliminated a squeak that has annoyed us since we took ownership of the car. Where the leather seat meets the plastic housing would squeak when the passenger or driver moved about in the seat. DP eliminated the squeak where the Armor All did not. Is there a lubricant in the DP?

Finally a look at the leather treated with DP. I sampled a seat back to show the improvement and very classy matte finish. Again, the leather was wiped to dry, no buffing.

After DP

One last benefit is the pleasant aroma. This is the wife's car and she approves. Im the MAN
Thank you Autogeek for the opportunity to share our real experiences with the products.
