Ok, So I'm new here... I need some advice on waxing my 1996 Porsche 993 it's Black and is fairly smooth and clean to the touch now... It was detailed by a dealer in April and looks good.

But I need some help making the most of the looks and shine. Here is what I have on my shelf to work with:

1)Pinnacle Soveran
2)Pinnacle Crystal Mist
3)Klasse All-in-One
4)Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze
5)Meguiars NXT 2.0
6)Griots Best of Show Wax
7)Griots Speed Shine (tried this but I'm not impressed)

Car has very few swirl marks and i'd like to keep it that way. I have bunch of MF cloths... etc...

Help me what direction should I go?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

The Klasse Twins topped with some Souveran ought to do nicely. If it was properly detailed in April, you shouldn't need any claying.

Depending on how bad the swirls are you may need a good cleaner polish. It kind of worries me that the dealership detailed it for you though.

Are you working by hand or do you have a polisher like the PC/G110?

With polish and buffer :

Menzerna then Souveran Paste, can add Klasse Twins in middle as wanted but sealant is mostly needed for additional durability

No polishing :
Klasse AIO -- Klasse SG -- Souveran (likely wax will offer some filling at best but gone after a wash or two so polishing is preferable)

I used a bit of the Meg NXT 2.0 on the bumper and wow it looks a feels so good! Do I need the others? are they as good?

Ok, what flavor of Menzerna do I use?

If they aren't too bad, Menzerna Polish PO85RD

Ok so must you use a power buffer for all of this or can you do it by hand?:buffing: I don't own a buffer.... so do I need to buy one?

I'm not sure if you have to or not. But if your doing a whole car, a machine is the way to go.

NXT 2.0 x 2 or NXT 2.0 topped with Souveran.

Ok, that's a combo I can do with what I have on hand... NXT 2.0 and Souveran.... I assume I can just do that by hand?
