DG 501 Cure Time?

You said you didn't do any polishing prior to this application, right?
Just applied and removed the DG501.
Did you hand apply it or use a PC?
I have only used 501 with a PC and always followed it with whatever LSP I was using at that time. It is an excellent cleaner/prep and appears to be a worthwhile AIO one step.

One reason I am curious if you got those results with hand application is that I have a friend that has no garage or good place to polish/wax his vehicle. I could meet him anywhere we could find some shade and hand apply some #501. Once he saw how easy it was, he might do it himself sometime.

When using a PC to apply 501 - what pad, how much product for what area size, how long do you work it?

I use a flat LC Black pad to apply 501, if I need a little more bite I use a white pad, I use just a few pea size drops add as needed apply over the entire car. If you put 601 down first then apply 501 on top it will help 501 cure in approx 2 hours. Or mix 601/501 together in a small bottle and it will help to cure after buffing off.
