I was finally able to get new wheels for my car. I think it really makes a big difference in appearance.

This is my first try posting pics here.

Here's a before and after shot of it.

Note: Had to wire brush rust, the prime and paint the rotor hubs and calipers to match the wheels.

Very nice but now you need to lower your suspension.

Ive added custom wheels to every ride since high school, its a statement on the individualism of the driver.

Thanks for the help, Megan! I can actually see it now, lol

Emile, how would I go about getting that done. Cheaply as possible. :D

springrates.com has the best prices I've ever seen on suspension parts (going to order buddy club coilovers soon for 50$ cheaper than everywhere else) Anyway, the wheels make it look much better!

TS, Thanks for the tip. I checked out springrates.com, but the only Mitsubishi they list are 95-99 Eclipse and 4 different lancers. Mine's an '03. I going to keep looking though.

Any suggestions for what to use to keep these clean and shiny? Along with what will remove tire gel also.

I dont know if their the cheapest but for my 240sx i trust Megan Racing to be the most durable parts from camber kits to their track Coil over kits

heres the lowering springs for your car

Remember to get your car alligned after you install them

If your going to do it yourself get a sprig puller from AutoZone, Pep Boys, ect. I think you just have to leave a deposit, which they give back when you return. Its been 10 years since I last used one.

The puller keeps the spring compressed so you dont poke your eye out.

If/when I do this, I'll get someone that knows what their doing.

Some of the springs show that they lower the car up to 2" almost. Does this mean I'd have to replace the struts also? (As you may be able to tell, I'm not much of a car mechanic. :D )
