ive used the xmt and at first i didnt like it because i wasnt used to working a polish in with the pc, but now im starting to like it and just ordered the biggest bottles they carry! a lot of people have had some success with poorboys SSR series (super swirl remover).

check them both out on the site. pinnacle xmt (eXtreme Machine Technology) swirl removers and poorboys world SSR. like i said, ive used the xmt and just last night i bought some more, it smells great too.

As far as pad choice and aggressiveness of polish, it really depends on the condition of your car's finish. It's better to start with something mild, then move to a more aggressive pad and/or polish if needed.

Personally, I've had good luck with PB's SSR line of polishes. As for pads, Sonus works well for me. I tried out their SwirlBuster pad with SSR 2.5 on my last detail and was pretty impressed with the results.

I like the Tigershark front on your Electron Blue C5.

First, please realize that Corvette clear-coat is very hard to work on. It is a very hard (not soft) clear. I have found best results with Menzerna IP/FP or Poorboys 2.5/1.0 SSR. I also really like the Optimum Hyper Compound and Optimum polish. Hopefully you will see from above, you will need to use a course polish (more abrasive) and a final polish for best results,

Patience will be the key ... slow and steady. As for pads start with white and move to orange if necessary with heavy polish. Move to grey finishing polish with the final polish. Sometimes you will need to use all three pads in varying degrees.

We do not carry the Menzerna line (very sad) , but we do carry the Poorboys and the Optimum line. If looking at a buffer/kit I highly suggest the Poorboys kit as comes with everything but the soap.

They do not allow me to take orders, I am kept locked up in a garage in a storage facility in South Florida as near as I can tell. They brought me a wife and child so all is not lost and I have free time. That said, if you would like to speak with someone, call the toll-free number and ask for Meghan or Jason. Tell them Scott sent ya ...
