Dodge Caliber
This is the 4th vehicle I've done for this customer now and this was actually his wifes car. I asked if she worked at the salt plant! :D
Paint was in good condition so it only needed a 1-step correction...interior was another story!
Before

Insides of the wheels were covered in undercoating. >:(

Thanks guys!

The whole car took about 9hrs. I'd say I had 3 hours on the interior.

Wow, how can they get in that thing every day looking like that? Why was there so much salt all over the car? The results are wonderful, nice flakes in the paint.

Nice shine. Great job. I have 2 question. Which Flex do you use, the dual action or the rotary? Also who makes a W8207 pad?

Nice job on the interior. The before pic reminds me of the inside of one of my friend's car!:D

What was your technique on those carpets? Where did all that salt come from? That was crazy!

I used M205 on the Flex with a Megs polishing pad. LSP was Wolfgang DGPS.

For the carpets I used APC+, agitated them with a stiff carpet brush, extracted with LGM using Folex solution, follow up with shop vac. I had to hit the salt areas a few times. Seats I used APC+, vinyl/dash got Meguiars Ultimate Quick Interior Detailer.

Seems like a lot of the cars I've done this year have had a lot of salt build up. I guess the state was just using more roads salt this year that previous years.

Flex 3401 DA. W8207 is Meguiars new 2.0 polishing pad. They work awesome on the Flex IMO.
