2008 Honda Accord in Alabaster Silver. Live in Massachusetts, want to put a good wax or polish on. Don't know whether to put it on by 7424, or by hand. Then want to seal it. I plan on putting several coats of the polish or wax on over a week or 2 period. Then want to put as many sealer coats as I can. Don't know whether to apply the sealer by 7424, or by hand. Give me some good brands that last well in the winter too. Oh and thanks for your time.

Polishing is taking an abrasive polish and cleaning the surface mechanically. Its best done with a buffer. Waxing and sealing IMO should be done by hand for best results and least amount of product used. Lighter is truly better ...

As for durable waxes (Collonite) or sealants (Duragloss, Zaino, Klasse Twins) are all nice with great results. There is a point of diminishing returns when layering any product and likely 2-3 coats is all thats needed.
