My friend and I each ordered a Flex 3401 starter package, one from AG the other from ##.

For a practice car we used my dads 1999 Toyota Camry.

Products used- Meg's NXT Car Wash, a fine grade clay bar, Meg's ID, Klasse AIO, Klasse SG, P21s, Flex XC 3401 and a White Lake Country pad. (I hadn't ordered Menzerna IP and FPII yet)

This car, as you will see, has VERY bad swirls from years of improper washing and 0 known polish/sealant/wax applications. There is no surface to the clear coat, its all scratches.

After wash, clay, wash and dry I taped off a line across the trunk lid for before/after comparison. Knowing that Klasse AIO is not an abrasive polish, I did not expect to see much as far as correction. After applying AIO to a white pad I made a few slow passes on speed 3.5 then wipe the surface clean to check my work and repeated on speed 4. Next I applied Klasse SG, too impatient to let it cure, removed it and applied P21s, both by hand. But Take a look.....

Impressive! No cutting polish was used and I still got decent correction.

-------------------------------A couple weeks later------------------------------------

With some practice under our belt, and some new products (## Foam Pad Conditioner, 3M Super duty Compound, Menzerna IP and FP II) my friend and I decided to give his Black Acura Type-R a full exterior detail.

Very nice job. I'm surprised how much paint correction you were able to achieve with just Klasse AIO.

Keep up the great work. :righton:

Post some pictures of the Audi when she's all done.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm still amazed by the results I got with AIO myself!
Well I finished compounding my Audi yesterday but had to go run some errands for work and couldn't polish etc (I didn't drive that car of course) but I had time for some pics!

She needs some work

What impresses me the most about the Camry is that it is a daily driver and not just a garage queen highender. Thats some work to get it looking that good. Thats what I love most about this forum, not the novalty cars but what people do to the neighbor's cars. Nice!

Thanks Robby! It was nice to practice on a car that I wasn't worried about. So when I learned about the importance of taping off the door handles so I don't polish the corners all the way to the plastic, the hard way, it didn't really matter. It's still shiny

NewCastle is so delicious I cook with it
