Next most aggressive in my arsenal, SIP/Orange (PC) not cutting it.

Hi all,
I am currently polishing my wife's Mini Cooper S that has been through a few car washes and is pretty scratched up. In the past, i was able to get almost everything out with 1-2 passes of SIP and an Orange pad using a Porter Cable. I am working on it tonight and having trouble getting the swirls/scratches out with that combo. I have a feeling I will need at least 4 passes to get it out. I am trying to find out what would be my next step up in aggressiveness. I have:
Purple foamed wool pad
Yellow Pad
Menz Powergloss
Optimum Compound (this seems weaker than SIP to me)
Makita with only white pads available

Should i step up to the Powergloss on a orange pad or the SIP on a yellow pad? Or go all out with the Powergloss on a yellow pad? Should i just switch to the Makita with SIP (or powergloss) on the white pad or will that be less aggressive than the SIP/Orange?

Any suggestions you can give would be greatly appreciated since i don't think i have enough SIP or orange pads (OR TIME!) to make it through 4 passes!!!

Any suggestions you can give would be greatly appreciated since i don't think i have enough SIP or orange pads (OR TIME!) to make it through 4 passes!!!I would try SIP with a white pad on the rotary if you feel ok using the rotary.One thing with menz products they do take some more heat to break down then other products.Not sure how hard of clear coat you have but sounds like you need to step it up some .Try the white pad then PWF .I don't like the orange pad on a rotary rather use white kompressor pad or PWF

Yeah, it seems the clear on the Mini Cooper is Really hard. What is PWF?

I'll give the SIP and white pad combo a shot with the Makita.

Well, i went back out and used the white pad and SIP and it seemed to help a little more but still didn't cut as much as I would like. I stepped up to the purple foamed wool (first time using it) and that was great!!! So easy to work with (minus some of the wool flying) and seemed to be at the cut level that I am looking for. It also seemed to finish down really nicely and it will only need a white pad and nano (on a PC) afterward. I was thinking of using the white pad/Nano on the Makita, but I'm so used to finishing with the PC I think I will stick with that.
