New guy in central Illinois!

Hello everyone, I live in central IL here and am no professional detailer or anything of that sort, but I do like to keep the car clean!

I have a 1991 Toyota mr2 turbo, which bares single stage crimson red paint that is highly oxidized and faded!

I am mainly looking to see what people recommend as a paint cleaner, that I could use before I buff/wax/seal my car. I got some Klasse paint sealent, some Duragloss 501(wheels), and Meguires #7 show car glaze.

I was looking at Meguires #26 as I believe it is a paint cleaner and I can get it local.

I would pick up some polishes. Do you have a DA or rotary? If I'm not mistaken #26 is a wax, not a paint cleaner. Do you have swirls? If so, you need something to get the oxidation and swirls gone. A 2 step would probally be needed.
