Hey everyone! Haven't been on the boards in awhile but I have a huge project coming my way and was wondering if anybody could help me out. I just purchased a truck from a family member. I know a few people has smoked alot in this truck before, so I know when I get it friday its going to reak of cigarettes. My question is, What is the best possible way to get that smell out of the truck? I do not smoke and don't like the smell either.

Get the Odor Bomb Non-Smoke spray stuff. I used it in my father in-laws house to test it out (he's smoke 3 packs a day in this place for over 20 years. Half a can later, per instructions, and the house was almost completely cig smoke free. A 2nd application and it was 100%. It does leave a bit of a weird aerosol odor for a day or so even after airing out, but it works great, get the three pack for 27 bucks, and use it around the house for other odors (pets, farts, feet)

if you're buying an 'odor bomb' for feet stank then you need some serious ointment

Speed, that stuff works great on a tour bus too! Imagine 10 people living on that thing, the bunk area begins to smell like feet, farts, sweat, bo, etc really quick, this stuff works great.

Yeah we got it right here at AG. They make a Non-Smoke spray, and then they make the complete Bomb too. Wanted to try the spray first, comes in a can kinda like some other household smelly good stuff, but actually gets rid of the smell instead of covering it up.

Where could I pick up a ozone generator and how much does one cost?

I was just being sarcastic about buying foot ointment for feet odor. I think a tour bus would be the perfect place to use that. Another great use for that is pets! Sometimes when my dad and i go on long trips and take our dog, the suv can smell pretty strong after the trip so I might actually consider getting this for him.

Ozone generators are expensive like 600 for a good one but they work awsom and will last forever. I have never tried the dakota bomb does it work really well?

So i put my order in for the Dakota Smoke Non Smoke spray and The Guzzler Waffle Weave. So hopefully the spray will work great!

Clean the headliner with damp microfiber and diluted interior cleaner or apc and hot water. Soak the microfiber then wring it out. You will be surprised just by wiping gently how much ash and tar residue comes off. Some have cautioned it could affect the glue that holds the headliner but I feel a lot of the smell is in the headliner especially where the smoke vents out around the windows. Just my 2 cents.
