I have a small scratch/scuff mark on the black dashboard (actually, the glove box door) of my Lexus IS 350. It's only about 1" long, but annoying since I know it's there. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it? I've tried Optimum Leather Protectant, which didn't really help. Someone suggested trying a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, but I'm concerned about doing more harm than good with that.
Thanks.

Is it just a scuff, or an actual scratch?

I think just a scuff, but what's the difference?

A scratch would be an actual gouge in the plastic, and a scuff is just a scuff.
Scratches in the dash are impossible to correct. Scuffs are a pain to remove, but doable. Lots of elbow grease and any kind of all purpose cleaner should do the trick (DP Total Interior Cleaner should work).

I think it's just a scuff. Any particular advice on how to use the cleaner? My instinct is not to rub too aggresively so I don't cause any further abrasion.
If it is a scuff, I would try some diluted APC on a MF and start from there.
