I was reccomended the Mezerna ceramic kit for my Benz, but I have a question. If my car has been re-clear coated (Fender bender), should I still use the ceramic or should I not?

It will work, just be sure that the paint is cured before polishing and waxing.

What kind of polisher are you using and what's in the Menz kit?

Sweet. Im using a PC 7424 and Im planning on getting the ceramic car show kit unless there is something "better" or more effective? Im a college student, so I am not made of money :D There are just so many kits and I dont know what Im looking for.

Link to kit:
Menzerna polishes for ceramic clear coat paint, Porter Cable 7424 dual action buffer, Nano polish, super intensive, Lake Country pads, Show car kit (http://www.autogeek.net/menzerna-porter-cable-ceramic-show-car-kit.html)

The polishes look ok, but the 6.5" pads are too big for the pc. Get a kit with 5.5" pads, even 4" pads are good. Everything depends on the condition of your paint. Any pictures?

Usual time is 60-90 days.

I find the ceramiclear polishes to work equally well on non-ceramic based clearcoats. The do however offer IP and FP if you prefer the non-ceramic equals.

Should I use ceramic polish even though my car was re-clearcoated? Also, will I be able to get the swirls out even though it was re clear coated?
