I used the Purple wool pads they worked great and easy to use.I've only played around with a full wool pad. From what i've read the 3m double sided wool pads is good just need an adaptor for the center of it for you rotary. Not sure have seen full wool in a 6" size. Also i was just looking at a black foam wool pad that's getting a good review.Mirco surface finishing products is the web site

A full wool 3M pad will be more durable than PFW.

I think both have there place in ones arsenal. Your regular wool are going to be more aggressive though.

Thats what I thought too Rasky, and to be honest I dont want anything too aggresive, just something to take out light swirls and light scratches ( LC pads I cant really get the light scratches out , even with SIP)

Well thats why you're having trouble removing imperfections. Time to learn how to use a rotary.

I just did a clean up on my wifes car (that's weird to say still, but then again only been married 2 weeks), with 106FF and white pad on my rotary, and it came out well. Still marring there, but I'd say I got 80% correction with just that combo on a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am, oh and it's black too.

I probably would've never gotten it that good with a PC. Used one a couple of times, and never liked it compared to my rotary...

I've seen some very impressive corrections done with a PC and M105 lately using the Kevin Brown method, by some very well respected detailers... ;)

Was waiting for someone to bring that up. Before someone asks, here you go, New M105 is kicking but w/ KB method - Autopia.org (http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-detailing-product-discussion/116222-new-m105-kicking-but-w-kb-method.html)
