View Full Version : Plastic Dye?

I have a 2007 Trailblazer, Ebony interior. The passenger side door has what appears to be a scuff, revealing some white through the ebony. These are not gouges or scratches, they are flush to the plastic.

No APC has taken the white away, leading me to believe it is in fact scuffed.

Is there a plastic dye that I can use to hide this.

Anyone have any other tips or techniques?

Any help or input is as always, greatly appreciated.

EDIT: This is on the INTERIOR plastic part of the door.

Unfortunately, No.

I was thinking maybe some Rit Black dye. Anything geared more toward the automotive end?

Do a google search on SEM Products, they carry loads of OEM paints and dye's for that area your looking to repair, They are located in NC. maybe they have a vendor near you. Give them a shot!.........

For a quick result use a Sharpie.

I agree with using SEMs, they have many factory colors to match your interior. using an adhesion promotor before spraying the dye helps with making sure it doesnt rub off
