I got a new honda pilot, black. I just clayed it using the pinnacle clay bar. It worked great. My question is this... since the dealer waxed it and then I did myself, will the clay bar and then the M205 remove the old stuff? After I do the M205, I was going to put on the Wolfgang stuff I got today.

I just didn't want to go through this if I was leaving the old stuff on there. When the dealer weaxed it, they left swirl marks all over it. The M205 with an Orange pad is working great so far.

If you use a orange pad you'll need to follow up with a white or gray pad. The orange pad will leave marring behind. Espeacially on a black car. You need a stronger polish. Maybe SIP, power finish 203, M105 or TSR.

Try the power finishg 203,105, TSR or SIP with a white pad first. Then use the orange if the white isn't doing much. If you use the orange you need to step down to a white or gray pad after with your 205.

claying and polishing will indeed remove any old wax or paint sealant.

i find the biggest issue with being new isnt the products, its the pads...

loudog nailed it though... the polishing also removes the old LSP
