I thinking about geting a flex polisher with my tax return, I've been looking at some of the kits just not sure which one to get. I don't have much experience w a polisher, but I have a couple old vehicles to practice on. Is the Menzerna FLEX XC3401 Ceramic Show Car Kit (http://autogeek.net/menzerna-flex-xc3401-ceramic-show-car-kit.html) good to start with? Does the size of the pads matter? Thanks

ThanksMerzerma products are awesome, all depends on what your trying too do as far as paint correction.Merzerma is great for Ceramic clear coat,i use a rotary but i hear the flex is a really user friendly machine.Older cars may have single stage paint and if they are really may have to use wool pad on them.

Pad size should not really matter with the Flex, as it does not bog down like a PC/G110/UDM will. Larger pads on the Flex will be a little more effective. Both the 5.5" and 6.5" pads work well very IMO.
