I have a couple halogen lights, but had never used the Fenix TK10 light (or any type like it) for defect inspection. My old eyes (62) are seeing defects much better and easier now. Just wanted to thank everyone who talked about this light on an earlier thread.

I paid $74.50 (incl. shipping plus another $9.50 for:D 2 lithium batteries). So it's not cheap, but I am very satisfied. Thanks again for the recommendation....this is what makes this forum worthwhile.

Just wondering why everyone is talking about the TK10. The TK11 cost 11 bucks more and has 15 more lumens. Does it matter? Is the TK10 all you need?

When Meguiar's trainer Mike Philips was in Dallas, he used a Brinkman Dual Xenon to show the swirls and halograms. It worked like a charm. It's about $20 plus it's rechargeable.
