Good afternoon everyone! I am looking to place an order with AG this coming week for a bunch of stuff. I am a complete beginner with this stuff and have never used a PC or other type of buffer. Ive spent some time lurking here just reading post and opinions and I think Ive found what I want to get.

Poorboy’s Porter Cable 7424 Polish & wax Kit (http://www.autogeek.net/popoprkit.html)

Poorboy's Trim Restorer: Touching up the trim with Poorboy’s Trim Restorer provides the final polishing step in your quest for the perfect finish. (http://www.autogeek.net/pbtr16.html)

Klasse Kit, klasse car kit, klasse car care kit (http://www.autogeek.net/klassekit.html)

Pinnacle’s Ultra Poly Clay is the single finest clay composition available today. (http://www.autogeek.net/piulpoclkit.html)

5 Gallon Professional Wash Bucket with Grit Guard (http://www.autogeek.net/5gagrguwabu.html)

Micro-Restore doesn’t just clean microfiber, it restores microfiber! (http://www.autogeek.net/mideco128oz.html)

Cobra Arctic White Miracle Towel 2 Pack Buy One, Get One Free! (http://www.autogeek.net/miracle-towels.html)

Cobra Deluxe Jr. Microfiber Towel 2 Pack Buy One, Get One Free! (http://www.autogeek.net/cobra-towel-2.html)

3 Pack Cobra Gold Plush Microfiber Towel, 16 x 24 inches Buy One, Get One Free! (http://www.autogeek.net/cobra-gold-3.html)

The ShMITT Multi-purpose Foam Mitts (http://www.autogeek.net/shmitt.html)

My plan is to wash the car with Megs gold class and smitt using the two bucket method
Clay
SSR 2.5 with white pad (orange if needed)
SSR 1 with gray pad
Klasse AIO by hand
Klasse HGSG with spray bottle and wipe (cure for 24 hours or so)
Natty's blue paste by hand
Poorboys trim restorer

Is this a good plan or is there anything I should change or add? I looked at the Menz SIP but it seems to be for the hard clear coats not for Nissan. I like the klasse kit because it seems to last for a pretty long time which is also good in my book. Where I live is pretty dusty and HOT so I figured the Poorboys line would be good as even in the shade, temps are in the low 90s right now and its only February. I have some tire and well brushes here so I dont need that. I am going to take some pictures of the truck and the car when I find the cable for my camera so I can upload them. The truck is a 2003 Nissan Frontier in light red and the car is a 1998 Nissan Altima in Black. The paint isn't too bad on either one of them but I just want to keep them looking good for another year or two until I am able to get a better car or truck.
Feed back please and thank you very much!

it looks good, but i would remove natty's and either get fusion or souveran considering they are both on sale and look great on red and black, and as far as polishes i think you will be happier with the m105 and m205 combo i have them and menzerna and i like both, buti find it much easier to use m105 and m205 with the porter cable and the resultare spectacular

Smokin - Believe me, I will be taking a bunch of before during and after pictures. I always do when I have a project going.

jrose - So if I replace the poorboys stuff with 105/205 and fusion, should I still use klasse? The 105 is a pretty strong compound isnt it? I would prefer not to use something that will wear down the clear too much as Im not really sure as to what I am doing yet.

It has been said that the poor boys line is idiot proof, so its perfect for a beginner like me. Is the pro line for Megs good for beginners or is it something for people that have been doing this for a while?

you can replace klasse or you could use fusion as a topper to give you car that extra pop but fusion also has really good durability alone, but obvouisly not as good as klasse. 105 is king of a rough compound but it is sometimes nessasary to remove stuff you wouldn't think you would need it for also 205 is a great polish with a mild cut

I would lose the Klasse kit and get wolfgang sealant or optiseal... with all of the polishing you intend to do, i think the KAIO is not needed, and the price for the kit is high relevant to the wolfgang or optiseal...

perhaps lose the poorboys kit and get the menzerna ceramic PC kit, youll be more capable and have more corrective power...

then add fuzion to the mix... nattys blue is awesome though...

the kit you have set up is great, and will do the job, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt...

Yes Menzerna says Ceramic, however it works great for any clear. I used it on my Pontiac.

Menzerna kit, 5.5 lake country pads, porter cable menzerna kit, ceramic clear polishing kit, Mercedes polishing kit (http://www.autogeek.net/pc7424-menzerna-ceramic-kit.html)

It also comes with 5.5 inch pads which work MUCH better with the PC.

You should also probably pick up a 3 pack of 5.5 inch gray CCS pads and 1 more white 5.5 inch CCS pad.

The 5.5 inch do much better with the PC and are what I used on my car. If you want to see the results, just look for my thread in Show & Shine.

Well after reading and looking at a couple of other forums, I am going to go ahead with the Menz kit with the 5.5 pads, dgps 3.0, and topped with fuzion.

Calhoun - Great job with the G5! Thats one of the things that kinda convinced me. The paint on both of my cars is about as bad as yours was, which is to say not too bad.

Thanks everybody!

Question on the following:

3 Pack Cobra Gold Plush Microfiber Towel, 16 x 24 inches Buy One, Get One Free!

I am considering buying these as well.....does anyone use these for all purpose...including drying? I see the larger size has drying listed.

The 70/30 is appealing and I like the color...
