What kind of tape did you use? You could use an old rag with some Goo-Gone stuff.

yea i have that same problem. The blue painters tape actually sorta faded my rubber trim around my windows. Someone mentioned that i should use the green 3m tape that has some special bonding property that doesnt allow it to leave residue or fade anything

Where would one find that green 3m tape?

i've never had an issue with just using some ONR QD. I average about 6-8 little spots where I see some residue but it comes off easily.

The Purple / Violet 3M Tape should also leave no residue and is available at all Walmart Stores.

I have 3M blue painters tape and it does the same thing, I had someone tell me the yellow or green doesn't, but I have so much painters tape in different sizes from the house that I just use it lol.
