I just polished my car about a month and a half ago and within 2 weeks water spots returned. I believe its the sprinkler system at my condo being the culprit.
Here was my procedure:
Wash with turtle wax wash and wax
Optimum Polish (original formula) with white pad on pc7424
Optimum Poliseal with black pad on pc7424
I intend on detailing the whole car this weekend and would like to use products I have rather than buying all new stuff. If I could please get some advice on what steps and what to use. I would also like it to be protected for awhile since I can not just keep detailing the car every month and the car is not garaged!
Here is the inventory:
Meguiars Gold Class Wax (I should probably just throw that stuff out!)
Mothers Caranuba Wax
Optimum Compound
Optimum Polish
Optimum Poliseal
PC7424 with yellow orange white and black pads
Pad detergent
Meguiars Clay bars and Spray Detailers
My plan was to wash and clay the entire car hit it with optimum polish on a white pad to get the current spots out. Then 3 coats of poliseal for protection, I did read however that it is a waste to do additional coats of poliseal.
O yea here is the patient
