A question about this.

Well first of all UPS forgot to deliver the item to my house so I had to wait until after the weekend, but why do they send the item from Stuart up to Orlando and then back down to South Florida? Just thought it is a bit weird.

UPS as well as other frieght and delivery services use a hub and spoke system. Item is picked up at customer and sent to a sort terminal (hub) and then a load is built to each center that the hub services.So it may seem that things are sent in the wrong direction but Stuart is most likely serviced by Olando. Also most UPS deliver Mon thru Fri except when Sat is selected and paid for (extra I think).

I know they dont deliver Saturdays but they forgot to deliver it Friday

I guess with DHL out of the picture , UPS can now sent packages on the scenic route for no extra charge.
