View Full Version : Cleaning Wood Grain???

in my truck i have a wood grain dash . anyone know how polish this? im sure its plastic not wood . should i use paintwork cleanser and top it with a pure wax?

Tom, if you have some 85rd or any type of finishing polish just work some of that with a microfiber towel and top with your favorite wax.

I love 1z cockpit lemon on my wood grain. Leaves it shiny and slick!

I am with Jimmy DP Plex All or Plexus, you have to remember its just plastic, don't go to aggressive.

our Caddy truck has real wood inserts but appears clearcoated. I dont polish them but use a spray sealant like Zaino Z8 or Qd'er type products with nice results monthly after doing glass and dash.

I use One Grand plastic polish on wood grain, it works really well. The next time i will try asphalt's method, sounds interesting.

make sure to polish with the grain
