Our Trip to Mobile Tech Expo 2009

Well Dwayne and I arrived around 4pm Thursday to set up for the show. We took a couple hours to get our booth all set up. Have to say he was great with setting the booth up, must be he's years doing SEMA. I was a little vertically challenged and not able to reach much to help him out!
The show began Friday morning running till Saturday evening. Had a lot of great people stop by the booth and visit us, not to mention all of the great forum members we met. I will post all my pictures up for you and I know there are lots more out there.

For those of you that are not familiar with Mobile Tech Expo...
This is a " TRADE SHOW" designed with the specific needs of the
Mobile Technician - and their "Shop On Wheels."
The MOBILE TECH EXPO is an INDUSTRY SHOW and not open to the public. The Trade Show includes FREE Clinics, Workshops, and Demonstrations.

Was very interesting to see all of the vendors there, we met with some great people from Cyclo, Rick from Raggtopp, David from Meguiars, Julio from the Buff and Shine, Steve with Aztec products, Troy from Detail City, Jim with ProntoWash, and all of our great forum members.

For those of you that have not visited Clearwater, I can just say it is priceless. Living in Fla most of my adult life I have seen some beaches and Clearwater is one of the best!

Great show Meghan!

This is my second trip to the Mobile Tech Expo with Meghan. Last year we walked the show as attendees and this is our first time as exhibitors representing Autogeek.net.

It's always good to meet forum members in person and meet potential new members that are discovering Autogeek.net for the first time. Those were few and far between because almost everyone that we met said they shopped at Autogeek!

Of course any show where we see Rick from Raggtopp is a great show. He is a cool guy with excellent products. I had the pleasure of talking about new products with David from Meguiars too.

Clearwater is a beautiful city and the turnout was good on both days and I heard that Friday set a record for attendance.

I feel bad for the 12 guys from Germany that flew in for the show and thought it was Saturday and Sunday. They arrived an hour before the show ended on Saturday!!! I wonder if they went to Disney on Sunday instead!!! :cheers:
