And my personal favorite, the "Sexcort" :D

This was actually a dealer car, and I think I only spent 4 hours on it.

Many many years ago it was! :D

It wasn't perfect, but it was as good as it was going to get given the paint condition. ;)

That is amazing. Occasionally we delve into buying/selling some older classics. What products/tools did you use?

Thanks!

Actually it came back to life with some fairly mild polishes, Meguiars M01 and M80. Initial polishing was done with the rotary and finished off with the FLEX 3401. I applied some M07 prior to wax since it was old single stage paint.

Honestly, the paint looked like an old Macco job from back in the day...either way, the owner was beyond pleased.

i was wondering bgray will the paint on the typhoon hold up the way it looks now if they continue waxing the car .I ask that i was told that when a car like that paint is that far one that you have to cut into the clear coat so much that in 6 or so months the paint will be just chalk like.Thank you

I beleive it all depends on how the car is cared for and washed i think...its ahrd to say. I had a civic very similar to the same paint condition, chalkboard, and it helds it shine for 2 years of abusive car washes...wasnt until it was sparyed with degreaser did it go chalky again
