Does anyone know how Menzerna compares with Optimum? It seems as though Optimum is a one step polish that can be adjusted by the pad that is used. Just wondering what anyone's experience has been.

Optimum polishes are mild compared to Menzerna, which has more bite to it. OPT is great for noobs, despite pro's use it a lot. Now, what I'm saying is based on OPT previous formulas. It is said that the newer versions have a little more cutting power.

I find Menzerna products to be quite user friendly to those old and new. I find Optimum to offer more working time for those who learn and adapt to their polishes.

SIP works just like OP - but only better. Use SIP with a wool pad and you have plenty of cut, use it with a finishing pad and you will get a very glossy paint.
