Got Boost?

Hey, I just received my first order from the site today so I figured i might as well make an introductory post. I wanted to compliment Autogeek.net on their service. I made my order Tuesday, it shipped Wednesday, and i received it today (Thursday). That may be the fastest i have ever got a package (of course it helps that im on the West coast of FL and they are on the East). So far i have nothing but good things to say about the site.

A little about Myself:

My Name is Glenn, and i drive a 1991 5.0 Mustang GT. I have been in the process of refinishing the entire outside of the car since July. I should be finishing it up this Sunday. I want to maintain the look of a brand new paint job as long as possible, so the info on this site is pretty valuable for me. I've been reading on the site for a couple months now, but this is my first post on here. I've always loved a clean car, hate it when my car is dirty. I happened upon this site when i started getting interested in using better products than your "run of the mill" OTC products. High Performance cars (more specifically mustangs) are my "thing". My '91 is my 'baby'. In short, I've rebuilt the top end of the motor, rebuilt the transmission, painted the Engine bay, and Now refinished the entire exterior since i got it. The 'mod list' is longer than i care to mention since most of you arn't as interested in the Performance aspect of the car as much as detailing it.

Well i think that about sums it up for now. If it will let me, i will post a Link to my refinishing thread a little later.

EDIT: added some photos of the car (excuse the dirty tires and engine bay - those will be cleaned tomorrow). we are just finishing up the outside restoration. we have wetsanded the hood and it will be buffed and installed tomorrow. i will also clay my windows, clean the engine, and scrub all of the junk off the tires tomorrow.

also, here is a link to a thread which outlines the entire restoration of the exterior of the car:

Well, then ill list the big things, since im sure some people will want to know.

In short, the car has full exhaust, Typhoon intake, E303 cam, Milled and 3 angled Heads, CAI, Tremec 3550 trans, 3:73 gears, Weld Draglites, Tri-axe shifter, and ALOT of weight reduction. theres much, much more. but those are some of the big things. It should run High 12's/Low 13's on street tires in the 1/4.

Man, i know! seems like the more i do to it, the more that gets added to the cleaning list.

tell us about the boost!

Well, thats the name i use on other forums as well. The car isnt supercharged right now, but if all goes as planned i will be strapping a Vortech S-trim on this April.

planning 10-12 lbs of boost and Methanol Injection. The car will be tuned by Bob Kurgan, I'm planning to see 420-450 hp at the wheels on a very conservative tune (its my daily driver).

yeah these things can get pretty loud. i run an O/R H, headers, and dumped 40 series. the car can be heard blocks away at normal throttle.
