This is your thread where you can share you day yesterday with everyone. Did you do anything exciting, perhaps detail anything, any surprised guests....

I did take a couple pictures to share, only because of all days I was digging in my detail supplies to do a "small detail"....

My grandmother passed away over ten years ago and I have her butter dish. This dish was always on her table so I thought I would bring it out yesterday. UNTIL I took a look at it! As any Autogeek, I thought, heck I can fix that... well it took about an hour but take a peak at the wonders of Wenol.

First had to take care of dinner, the Pilgrams said they would guard the turkey for me...

Here is the old dish, I remember it being so shiney so I had to fix it.

This was after a good rub down, just need a nice buffing now!

Back to almost perfect

And my future detail assistant... this was his first Thanksgiving and he didnt even get to taste the turkey!

Hope everyone enjoyed their day with family and friends, to bad the football games were boring!

Good thing the new assistant can't read his bib?

Great job on the dish, good as new. I'm sure your grandmother would be proud.

Great job on your grandmothers dish.

I'm thankful for my sharing it with my first grandchild. He is 1 month old today.

Nice dish Meghan. My mother also has one of those. The up rights are for the knife. Maybe I need to polish hers too. Great Detail!

That's a great story Meghan. My holidays haven't been the same since my grandmother passed over 10

I haven't been home for Thanksgiving in 5 years anyways, so nothing special. Had a day off in Great Falls Montana, the crew and band all had dinner together at our hotel. Was pretty fun, then did laundry and went to the strip club. Worst strippers I've ever seen! TRAINWRECK!

Football games, boring or not- THE University of Texas slapped texas a&m. As the great 20th century philosopher Randy Quaid said in, "Independence Day"..."payback is a b****".

Megan, you forgot to mention the products used to polish your little dish. Did you clay first, a orbital or rotary used or did you apply a sealent or nuba?
What ever your method, it seems you enjoyed Thanksgiving with the cute little guy and thats all that really matters. This Thanksgiving was the second one for our grandchildren, my daughters 16 month old twins (a boy and girl), and the first for her 2 month old boy (she says thats it, no more). Holidays are more fun with kids around, even more so if they're well behaved which we are lucky to have. Next stop Christmas, it's spoiling time. Maybe a toy Flex.:D

Pics of said ps3? The finish on the ps3 is more fragile than most cars, i've thought about polishing it as well, my wife would probably have me committed if she caught me doing that though.

Had a neighbor over and let the dogs play. That was it yesterday, today we did some shopping after the crowds then drank some and puffed on my last cuban :(......I should have more Christmas time ;)
