SIP with a white pad or move up to a orange pad if needed. Finish down with 85rd. Hope you have 5.5" or 4" pads.

turns out the swirls are from the previous person who detailed his car with a rotary and left holograms( or maybe swirls but they move around at diff angles). so sip is the super intensive polish right? and the 85rd is the final finish right? those are still ok? thanks again. can i use this as a finishing polish instead of the 85rd

Try a SIP/106FA combo. Like what RSURFER said. Try the white pad first with the SIP. If that doesn't work, move up to the orange pad. Follow up the SIP with the 106FA. Then if you wanted you can burnish the paint after with either 87MC or 85RD. 87MC has a little less cut than 85RD.

pictures would help. We have no idea how bad the car is. If you wanted to try a one step. The power finish 203 is a pretty good product, with either a white or autogeek green pad. This will not eliminate the medium to heavy swirls, but does work on light swirls.

:iagree::whs:No you can't finish down with SIP If 106 will remove your swrils then you might be able to finish down with a black pad. I perfer finishing down with 87MC cause as loudog mentioned it has the least bite of the Menz polishes. If you take care of your paint (correct washing and drying) 87mc is all you need for light polishing.

I'd go for the 106FA/wolfgang DGPS combo. The 106FA will finish down better than the 85U(final polish). But, to answer your question. Yes, you can use the 85U to finish after the SIP.
