I just bought a set of brand new chrome wheels about 5 months ago. Anyways I have always used just soap and water to clean them, but lately I have noticed some tar marks and also some rust of corrosion(not quite sure on that part what it is.) What product would you all suggest to clean and get the grim off with? I don't want to try use a brush and possibly mess up the finish.

Possibly a boars hair brush?

Mothers Chrome Polish. Just apply the stuff with a towel and it will clean and polish the chrome in one step.

Clean well with P21S wheel cleaner (VERY safe on all finishes), then use a good chrome polish. Mothers or Meguiar's NXT All Metal Polysh will work well.

:whs:

I would add a final wipe down with DG 501 to clean and protect.

P21S all the way ... safe for all wheel types.
