OK...I took the plunge and got a PC 7336. I have EDGE 2000 DA Pads in orange, blue and white on order from autogeek, along with the DA adapter and some other stuff.

I was able to get the 7336 locally for $99.00, which is why I was able to get the EDGE pads, even though they do cost a little more; plus they're reversible. Right? Sorry, I'm just trying to justify all this stuff to myself. Oh yeah...I got the 15% for signing up on this forum. More justification to spend money:rolleyes: .

Yup, the Edge pads are reversible. If it makes you feel any better, the PC was the best detailing investment I have ever made. You will DEFINITELY get your money's worth out of it. I've had mine for about 2 years and it gets used quite frequently.

I've been also looking to purchase a PC but what is the difference between the 7336, 7424, and 7428 models. The speeds look the same.

The 7336 and 7424 are the exact same buffer, with the exception of the counterweight (the 7336 comes with a 6" counterweight, 7424 comes with a 5"). Everything else is identical.

The 7428 is a high speed rotary buffer.
