This was my sister's car. Its looks funny but its pretty quick.
Came out better then i expected.
washed, clay the whole car, then washed again,
blow dried
then tape and polished

2 step polish was need to take out some swirls
1st step was menzerna power gloss with 4 inch orange pad set at 6 on my PC7424
2nd step menzerna SIP with 4inch white pad set on 5.
3rd step XMT finishing glaze with 5.5 grey pad on 4.
after each step did a 50/50 wipe down

, LSP Wolfgang Füzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax (http://www.autogeek.net/wolfgang-fuzion-carnauba-polymer-car-wax.html) -

I have to say this is the best wax i have used so far.
The wetness is great.

Did not do wheels or interior,
because for one, the wheels are cap to look like chrome. She keeps the interior clean so i just left it alone.

I wish i took better after pic but maybe next time.

Good job. It's amazing how the 4 inch pads turn the pc into a different polisher, better of course, when it comes to swirl removal.:buffing:

thanks for all the kind word,
Yes the PC with 4inch pad for swirl removal is great. I gave it a go with 5.5 pad but the 4inch pad worked better. was going to step up to a Makita 9227C Polisher but would cost made me just get some pads. with the 20% off fall discount the pads seem like a better deal.

NSX-T,

How long did this detail take you? Did you use the 4" pads over the whole car or just a few spots? Seems like the 4" pads would take a long time to cover the entire car.

I did use the 4" pad for the whole car. Its really not a big car and did not have a roof. I spent a total of 6 hour. 10pm to 1am for two nights. I used a 5.5 to put on the glaze. Wax was by hand and taken off by hand. I had a lot of swirls all over even on the roll bar. I would never use a 4" pad if i had to work on a bigger car or and van but Pt cruiser 4" pad no problem.

Looks great. I use 4" pads with my PC on any car, to me it works faster or just as fast as the 5.5" pads.
