External window rubber started getting grey on my X3 and it does not look good. Which product do you reccomend me to make it black again and protect it. I used AG but does not last long...

If you are talking about what I think you are 1Z Einszett Rubber Care Stick Gummi Pflege” (http://www.autogeek.net/1z-einszett-rubber-care-stick.html) works great.

I always use 303 Protectant on all window and door rubber.

I think both of those recommended look nice but they both wash off and down the side of my car when it rains. I prefer Duragloss Rubber and Flat Black Dressing (http://www.autogeek.net/duruflbldrr2.html). It is water resistant and won't wash off if it is given time to cure. If the damage is bad enough and cannot be covered up then I have used acetone to remove a thin layer of rubber. But you have to be very careful because it will ruin your paint if it touches it.

I only use 303 for interior plastic because it seems to do a good job of protecting the plastic from the sun beating through the window. And I use the Gummi Pledge on the inside door seals where water cannot get.

I love the Einszett Rubber Stick and highly suggest it.
