I usually detail friends sports cars that are pretty dam nice already when they come to me.
Today I detailed a girls beatup honda civic. It was alot of work and not worth it if it wasn't for the alterior motives. :D
But it was kind of rewarding to see something so bad and when I was done it looks like a different car. One thing I discovered was using the clay bar to get stuff off wheels amongst other places. Wheel cleaners didn't work and I didn't want to use anything harsher. I used a whole bar getting all the goo off.
I would have to say the biggest improvement was the door jams and front bumper. They look like I repainted them.
One thing I couldn't seem to get looking good was the steering wheel. It was chalky white residue that didn't come off. Any ideas what could remove that?
