I take my car to get professionally detailed once every 2 weeks, but because of the area I live in, sometimes between those two weeks, I'll hit lots of bugs and/or dirt spots while driving at night. Sometimes these spots are very few while other times, they're all over my front bumper. I am looking for a quick (but strong) cleaning product to wipe off these spots in between my 2 week detailing sessions. I've looked at Meguiar's (http://www.autodetailingsolutions.com/) Ultimate Quick Detailer, but it seems that most of the information available imply that it is more for a quick shine than a good cleanser. Some people suggested I use Meguiar (http://www.autodetailingsolutions.com/)'s Last Touch (http://www.autopia.org/dline.htm) cleaning spray, which seems much more fit for my application. I just want to get more opinions, so here are my questions:

1) Is the Ultimate Quick Detailer the right product for the situation described above (cleaning) or is it mainly for a quick shine?

2) If not, what is the BEST product(s) out there for the above application? Something with good lubricating and "cleansing" agents to be able to remove bug remains? I've heard many good things about Poor Boy's Spray & Wipe Waterless Wash as well.

3) How about Menzerna's Top Inspection?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Spray and Wipe would be a great choice. Also if you are just looking to remove bugs from the front and not QD the whole car you might look into Poorboy's bug squash. It is great for quick cleanups when diluted and seems to not affect the wax too much.

I use Poorboys and it removes bugs and such pretty well. Sometimes you have to spray and let it sit for about 10 seconds and then wipe.

Menzerna Top Inspection isn't recommended for QD. It's used for polishing to see results easier.

Quick detailers are typically used for getting rid of dust on the vehicle and give that little extra boost of gloss to the paint.

For your situation, I would have to recommend the Poorboy's World Spray & Wipe Waterless Wash.

Bug Squash is awesome stuff. Let it sit on bugs and agitate a little, and they practically spray off.

Poorboys Spray/Wipe but dilute or will streak. Menzerna Top Inspection is designed to use after polishing to remove oils and any filling to check work.
