My fathers Sebring has been garaged kept from new. It was never polished or waxed, he also stated it has not been washed in about 2 years. All I had in my bag was Mothers Clay, a UDM, white CSS 6.5, PO106FF, and PO85RD. I did not use the 85RD.

The car was not really that bad, after claying and a wash it looked nice from far, but far from good. I did 2 passes over the entire car on speed 6 in the morning and afternoon. Came back the next day and washed again then IPA wipedown. Here are some shots still showing the scratches. I was thinking about stepping up to SIP, but what pad, start with a white or go to an orange?

Respect,

Andrew

Smaller pads would help, I have had really good luck with 4" LC pads. Take a test panel and test different polishes and pads, always start with the least aggressive. I would think SIP would be a good start. Try that with a 4" white pad and work from there.
