I am sure this has been asked many times so forgive me for repeating the question . What is the benefit of using multiple layers of sealant ? I figure protection for one but is there any depth or gloss benefits ?

If I ever apply a second layer of a sealant, it is to ensure complete coverage.

I find some products look better when layered, these products I will add layers. Other sealants look great just one layer. I still like to top most with a nice carnauba.

Some suggest you can layer a pure sealant and build levels. Never seen a huge difference and likely more than two coats is just wasted product.

I use two coats of EX-P to make sure I covered everything. I do the second about 12 hours after the first and then about 10 hours later top it with Souvran.

I have used EX-P and WGDG sealants with Souvran. Each works well.

Right now I have SSII on top of 2 week old DG 111. I plan on using FK1 Hi Temp 1000p next time and topping it with Souveran.
